"The day after tomorrow"

Only two days to «GreatGrandpa goes Iron» in Haugesund, Norway. My first Ironman 70.3. Hope I will survive! But when Daphne Belt from UK at age 80 can do it, so can I at age 72 ..or…..?

My preparations are medium, and as I have never participated in such a long triathlon before, my anticipations are high and soaring. Luckily I have my personal cheering group with me (wife, daughter, son in law, grand-daughter with boyfriend). In addition I feel obliged to not let down neighbours and local newspaper after they put me on the front page in April. (I forgive them for the faulty date) (see picture). I wish myself best of luck and «may the force be with me»!  :)  :)
